Here are two swords I’ve made over the last year. The katana is part of an ongoing project that will probably come about next year.
The longsword is a sword for a client cosplaying Yuri in his knight uniform. The handle is actual wrapped linen dirtied and worked with some ashes (no kidding). -
Still been neglecting this place. School really dragged away my spare time. To try and spark it up anew, here’s an update.
While taking some shots of the shop for a article I’m working on, my friends (the photographer and the guy holding the prop) decided to take a shot of the chakrams as they’ve stood since late Fall. -
I’ve been neglecting this blog badly, which goes with me not getting around to working on anything new. Still trying to get some more time and maybe report my work better.
Anyways, currently I’m chipping away at a pair of Axel chakrams (though they are actually wind and fire wheels). I’ve got a good 4-5 hours of wore done on them, but there’s still so much more to be done.

Haven’t updated in a while, been real busy. Put some work into the Jecht sword again, it’s almost done.

Since a certain follower of mine has been prodding me to keep working, I took a few moments to hack away at it some more. Pictured is the chisel and wooden mallet I’m using as well as the result before and after smoothing.

Cutting is all done, added some pieces to start forming the hilt.

Coming along.

A little update while I’m at work. Here’s a little progress I made in a half hour this morning.
